TrackLab Insight
Perfect record from two races, trained by Aidan O'Brien and backed as the market favourite at 1.87, but she's returning from a 320-day absence and has never raced on fast, dry ground like Goodwood is today. An O'Brien two-year-old with a 100% record is always dangerous, though the long break and ground inexperience are legitimate wildcards.

Trainer Quotes
Mar 2026
"She's very like her dad and has made great progress. He didn't win until the end of his two-year-old campaign, so we were kind of surprised at what she did in winning all three races, finishing off in the Prix Marcel Boussac, and we couldn't wait to get her finished for the season. She's very strong, very natural and takes no training. Christophe [Soumillon] rode her for her last two wins and was besotted with her. Listening to the lads, she might go to France [for the French 1,000 Guineas] and Precise could go to Newmarket. After that, she could go back for a French Oaks, but we'll get her started and see. 31-03-26"

Friendly Soul wins roughly 3 in every 7 races—the best win rate in this field by a significant margin—and that 43% win rate sits well above the competition. She's had 43 days to recover from a third-place finish at Ascot and brings proven Class 1 pedigree, though the pulled-up run at Haydock two months before that is a concern worth monitoring.

TrackLab Insight
The editorial pick has won two of her last three races and boasts the most experience in the field at 18 career starts, but that sixth-place hammering at Ascot 43 days ago is a red flag that won't fade easily. She's suited by dry ground and this 1m 2f trip sits within her sweet spot, yet the form dip is genuine enough to justify the drifting odds.

TrackLab Insight
Three races, two wins, three consecutive top-3 finishes—Botagoz looks sharp on paper, but she's stepping up four classes from her recent Newcastle victory and has zero experience on fast, dry ground. At 17.0 odds, she represents a genuine roughie if she handles the step up and the new ground conditions, but both are genuine unknowns.
Drops 4 classes from usual level Never raced on dry ground Lightly raced (3 career races) 3 straight top-3 finishes
Trainer Quotes
Apr 2026
"She hadn't blown me away at home and caught me by surprise when she won at Kempton in December, but she's starting to work really well now. We've got her in the Prix de Diane and I might start her off in either the Nell Gwyn, the Fred Darling or the mile novice for fillies at Nottingham during the same week. Her first run will dictate where she goes from there, but I really like her. 01-04-26"

TrackLab Insight
At 201.0 odds, Moments Of Joy is a clear outsider with just one win from seven races and recent form showing 4th, 6th, and 5th finishes. The 12-pound weight penalty versus the other three-year-olds and her modest 14% win rate make her a statistical long-shot, though she has mixed it with Class 1 company before.

How do odds work? The first number is what you win, the second is what you bet. So 5/2 means you win £5 for every £2. 4/1 means you win £4 for every £1. The bigger the first number, the less likely bookmakers think the horse will win — but the more you'd win if it does.
