What we do know is the breeding. Nyra is by Isfahan, out of a mare by Manduro — two names that mean something to those who follow these things. Both Isfahan and Manduro are associated with horses who tend to be versatile, capable of running well on different types of ground and over a range of distances. That is a useful starting point, though breeding can only tell you so much. The racecourse has a habit of making its own judgements.
For now, Nyra is simply one to watch. A debut is a moment of pure potential — and sometimes that is the most exciting kind.
