Seven races, no wins, and a seventh-place finish last time out at Catterick — Come On Over has the joint-worst win record in the field alongside several others. The jockey and trainer combination is strong on paper with 173 wins together, but the horse itself has given little reason for optimism. Priced at 9-1, that feels too short given the evidence.

Yellow Diamonds comes into this race off the back of a win and has a tidy placed record, but it hasn't raced in over seven months — the longest absence of any runner in the field. Ice Cold Alex is rated in line with several rivals but has only won 1 from 7 races and comes into this off a sixth-place finish at Southwell.
