The horse loves Newcastle more than anywhere else on earth. It has won 5 of its 17 races there—a win rate of roughly 1 in 3—which is the kind of course dominance that gets trainers thinking about planning the season around certain tracks. That specialization is crucial because, away from Newcastle, Tomorrow Day is ordinary. It wins only 2 of 15 races elsewhere (13%), so the Newcastle record accounts for half its career wins with just half the races. More telling still is its appetite for wet ground. When the track is soft or heavy, it comes alive—2 wins from 4 races (50%). Put it on fast, dry ground and the horse becomes a long shot.

Mark Usher's Upper Lambourn yard has sent out 15 winners this season, so there is competent horsemanship here, and jockey Tom Kiely-Marshall rides Tomorrow Day regularly with some success—2 wins from 7 rides together (29%).
