Princess Coco

She races at Class 5, which is the entry level of British racing — the place where horses come to find their feet or discover what they're capable of. Even here, Princess Coco hasn't managed a win or a place from her three races at that level, which suggests she is still searching for the conditions or the race that suits her. That said, she raced just yesterday, so the team at Simon Whitaker's yard clearly haven't given up on finding that elusive first win.

Whitaker trains out of Scarcroft in West Yorkshire and has sent out three winners this season, so the yard is capable of getting results. Princess Coco, at three years old, is still young enough that improvement is possible — many horses take time to figure things out. Whether she can turn these performances around remains to be seen, but with racing the yard still actively running her, the belief hasn't gone entirely.
