Goldie has spoken about how Yaaser rewards patience — the later you hold him, the more he comes alive. After one Musselburgh win, Goldie noted that the team had learned from a previous visit where they played their hand too early. They sat quieter, brought him wide, and he finished like a train, straight as a gun-barrel up the final stretch. That kind of adaptable horsemanship, and a horse willing to respond to it, is what separates the good yards from the great ones.
