The clearest pattern is ground conditions. When the track is normal and firm underfoot, Travel Agent thrives. It has won 3 of 8 races on such ground, a rate of better than 1 in 3, which is genuinely strong form. Soft or heavy ground, by contrast, seems to dull its sharpness. Travel Agent also has a sharp preference for Lingfield Park: two wins from four races at that track shows real affection for the place, and its most recent victory came there on 27 April 2026. That was four months ago now, a long drought in racing terms.

Here lies the rub. Travel Agent has not won in its last six races, a streak that includes five fifth-place finishes sandwiching a seventh. The horse has places in that run — two seconds in five finishes — which suggests it still has some ability, but the victories have dried up. Adam Kirby's yard at Kirtling, in Newmarket, has sent out six winners this season, so there is form flowing elsewhere. Travel Agent remains active, having raced just a day ago, but it faces a puzzle: wherever it runs next, conditions will need to favour it sharply. That normally means Lingfield Park on firm ground, where this horse remembers how to win.
