Tommie's Angel

Rebecca Menzies, who trains at Morden in Durham, has the horse in her care. It's a yard that knows what it takes to win: Menzies has sent out 36 winners already this season, so there is clearly expertise there. Whether Tommie's Angel is simply still finding its feet or whether it needs time to prove it belongs at a competitive level remains to be seen. The horse is still young at three years old, so there is room for improvement, and with only one race in the last couple of days it looks like the yard is keeping it active and testing it regularly. For now, though, this is a horse that has yet to break through to the winner's circle.
