Mister Mojito

He's trained by T J Kent out of Newmarket — one of British racing's great training towns — and the yard is in good nick this season, having sent out 12 winners already. His most productive partnership is with jockey Brandon Wilkie, who has ridden him six times and won on him three occasions. Winning half your races together is a remarkable ratio, and it suggests a real understanding between horse and rider.

At his best, Mister Mojito thrives on normal ground conditions and mostly competes in Class 5 company — the bread-and-butter level of British racing, where solid, consistent horses make their living. He's won 4 of his 13 races at that level, roughly 1 in every 3, which is a tidy record. His first career win came at Great Yarmouth in April 2024, and his most recent was there again in May 2025 — so he clearly has a soft spot for that track too.

The honest part of the picture is that recent form has gone a little quiet. His last six runs read 5-4-5-3-5-5 — plenty of minor placings, nothing converted into a win — and it's now been almost a year since he last got his nose in front. But he raced just one day ago, so he's firmly in action, and a horse with a perfect record at Lingfield Park will always have a route back to the winner's enclosure. The key for his team is finding the right track, the right conditions, and getting Wilkie back in the saddle. When those pieces line up, Mister Mojito has a habit of delivering.
