The horse is trained by Richard Hughes at Upper Lambourn in Berkshire, and the yard is in seriously good form right now, having sent out 60 winners already this season. That context matters. When a trainer is firing in winners at that kind of rate, you can reasonably trust that a horse leaving their yard is fit, ready, and given every chance to perform. Love Is wasn't sent to Windsor to get a day out — it was sent there to win, and it delivered.
It's early days, naturally. One race tells you something, but not everything. What it does tell you is that this is a horse worth keeping an eye on as the season unfolds.
