Look at those last four results in reverse order and you see a horse finding its feet. A distant sixteenth on debut suggested plenty of learning to do, but he then came home second next time out, followed by a fourth and most recently a fifth. That's not a consistent upward curve, but the early promise of that second place means he clearly has some ability — he just hasn't quite managed to string it all together yet. With only four races under his belt, there's still plenty of time for things to click.
He's trained by Owen Burrows at Lambourn, one of British racing's most famous training villages, tucked into the Berkshire Downs. Burrows is having a productive season — 30 winners already this year — which suggests a yard operating with confidence and knowhow. That matters for a young horse still learning his trade: being in a busy, winning stable means he's surrounded by horses performing well, and the team clearly knows how to get the best out of their string. Lohoobb raced just yesterday, so he's very much in the thick of his campaign right now.
The honest summary is that Lohoobb is an unfinished project. He's shown enough to suggest he's not out of his depth, but not enough yet to mark himself out as one to follow with confidence.
