Two placings in three races is respectable; the thirteenth is a reminder that Kiss Me My Love is not yet a horse for the very biggest occasions. When competing at Class 4 level — the bread and butter of mid-range racing — the win rate sits at 14 percent, in line with the overall record. This is a horse that performs at its level, does enough to make its running worthwhile, and occasionally breaks through to win. Mason's partnership with it suggests there may yet be more wins to come.
