When Hover On The Wind was stepped back to shorter distances over 5 furlongs, he showed genuine quality and won at Beverley, indicating that distance and ground conditions matter.

This is a horse that remains actively racing, with his last run just yesterday. He is at his best on the courses and ground he knows well, particularly Pontefract on normal ground. For a 6-year-old still picking up winners at regular intervals, there is every reason to think he will find more success if kept in the right races and conditions.
