On a standard, well-ridden track, Golden Prosperity has won 3 of its 21 races there—a 14% win rate, nearly double its overall average. That stat matters. It suggests the horse prefers firm footing and clear ground, and that conditions matter more to this one than to many others. The horse's last win came at Catterick Bridge on 8 April, five months ago, a race that presumably came on the kind of ground it likes. In the years since that first breakthrough win at Musselburgh in July 2023, Golden Prosperity has been a fixture of Class 6 racing—the lower rungs of the ladder—winning 4 of its 47 races at that level. Jockey Kieran Schofield has been its most regular partner, though the numbers there are not encouraging: one win from 12 rides suggests they have not quite found the magic together. At seven years old, Golden Prosperity is past its prime years but not yet finished, and for a horse that has earned its keep through honest, workmanlike racing rather than brilliance, that may be enough.
