Fiorella Princess

Her two wins have come at opposite ends of the calendar and at very different venues. She broke her duck at Chelmsford in October 2024, then showed she had not forgotten how to win when she landed a race at Sandown Park in September 2025 — a track with a bit more prestige and a more testing finish than most. That second win came seven months ago now, and her last six runs have produced nothing better than a second place. The current sequence reads 6, 6, 2, 5, a blank, and a sixth — patchy stuff, and the blank in the middle suggests she may have missed a run entirely in that period.

Almost all her racing has come at Class 5, the bread-and-butter level where the sport keeps most of its horses busy week to week. She has won 2 of her 16 races at that level — around 1 in every 8 — which is a respectable return without being spectacular. The fact that she rarely steps up in class either reflects how her team see her or simply where she keeps finding the right opportunities. She raced just yesterday, so she is clearly in a busy spell right now.

Adam Farragher has the best handle on her of any jockey, winning 1 from their 5 races together — a 20% win rate, or roughly 1 in every 5 rides, which is notably better than her overall record. Charlie Wallis trains her out of Ardleigh in Essex, a yard that has sent out seven winners already this season and clearly knows how to keep horses fit and competing. The question now is whether Fiorella Princess can add a third win to her tally, or whether that Sandown success back in September will be the one she is remembered by.
