Draupnir

The problem is that Draupnir hasn't won in the 12 months since that September victory at Thirsk. The last six races tell a frustrating pattern: a second place, then a fifth, a tenth, seventh, third, and another fifth. There are glimpses of ability—that runner-up finish shows the horse can compete—but consistency and a winner's finish line have proved elusive. When paired with jockey Billy Garritty, Draupnir has won one of five races together, which is noticeably better than its overall record and suggests the partnership works. Draupnir was last on track just a day ago, so it remains an active competitor in the yard's care.
