Where Cisco Disco does show genuine strength is on wet or muddy ground. In those conditions, he's won two of his five races — a 40 percent win rate that stands out sharply against his overall record. He also performs best at distances between a mile and three furlongs and a mile and four furlongs, winning three of 12 races at those trips. It's in a combination of soft conditions and the right yardage that he becomes genuinely competitive. His regular partner, jockey Oisin Orr, has won once from seven races aboard him, much in line with the horse's baseline performance. Racing just yesterday, Cisco Disco remains active and useful at his level — a mid-tier professional doing his job.
