Bearami Creek

Look at the last six races in reverse and you can see a horse steadily finding its feet. A win, then a fourth, then a fifth — the direction of travel was clearly improving before a couple of blanks at the end of that sequence. That sole career victory came at Navan on 20 September 2025, and it remains the high-water mark so far. Navan is a fair, right-handed track in County Meath — not a quirky specialist's course, which suggests the win reflected genuine improvement rather than a horse stumbling onto a track that just happened to suit.

In the saddle for that win, and for seven of the horse's 13 races overall, has been Sam Ewing. Together they have won 1 from 7 — about 1 in every 7 races — which is a decent enough partnership at this level, and there is clearly an understanding between horse and rider worth building on.

Behind the scenes, the operation is run by Peter Fahey out of Monasterevin in County Kildare, a yard that has sent out 14 winners already this season. That is a stable in decent form, not a small outfit hoping for the odd result — Fahey knows how to get a horse ready to win, and Bearami Creek has clearly been managed carefully through what has been a gradual climb up the form ladder.

With a race as recently as yesterday, this is a horse very much in active training and being kept busy. Whether the team can find another opportunity to repeat that Navan result remains to be seen, but with the yard firing and a partnership with Ewing already producing results, Bearami Creek looks like a horse worth keeping an eye on over the weeks ahead.
