The horse made its first career win at Hereford in February 2025, and since then the yard has clearly worked out exactly how to get the best from it. Mel Rowley, based in Bridgnorth in Shropshire, has sent out 12 winners this season already — a productive yard by any measure — and Analiese has been one of their flag-bearers. The most recent win came at Chepstow five weeks ago, and with the horse raced as recently as yesterday, this is very much a team operating with confidence.

A big part of the story is the partnership with jockey Charlie Deutsch. In six rides together, Deutsch has partnered Analiese to three wins — that is a win rate of exactly 50%, or one win in every two times they race together. For context, that is an extraordinary return. When a jockey and horse click like that, it tends to be more than coincidence — it usually means the rider understands how the horse wants to be ridden and trusts it to deliver.

Conditions matter too. On slightly soft ground — think a surface that has seen some rain and has a bit of give in it — Analiese has won 2 from 4, again hitting that 50% mark. At Class 4 level, which sits in the middle tier of British racing and is where most horses like this make their name, the record reads 2 wins from 5 races. That 40% win rate at this level suggests Analiese is not just a horse that beats weaker opposition — it genuinely belongs at this grade and then some.

Still only five years old and very much at the peak of its powers right now, Analiese looks like a horse with plenty more to give this season.
