When a trainer and a single horse win half their races together, it suggests something more than luck. It points to a real understanding of when to run, where to run, and how to get the best out of that animal.

Turner has only been at this since 2023, so there is very little to judge him on — but what little there is looks promising. Small yards that produce winners at this kind of rate tend to do so because the trainer is selective and patient rather than throwing horses at races and hoping something sticks. Whether Turner can maintain that sharpness as the yard grows will be the story worth watching.
