The bulk of her experience has come through trainer David Marnane, for whom she has ridden in 13 of her 15 races. That level of support from one yard is actually a promising sign — it suggests Marnane sees enough in her to keep putting her up, even without a win to show for it yet. She has also had three rides alongside owner Jered Maddox without a victory so far.

At this stage, the story is really about building experience rather than results. Fifteen races in a year is a modest book of rides, and the first win tends to change everything — both in confidence and in how other trainers view a young jockey. That moment is still to come for Parsons, but the foundation is being laid.
