The most notable thread so far is a regular partnership with Gimmieminnie, a horse she has ridden in five of her six races to date. That kind of repeated booking suggests there is a working relationship developing between rider and yard, even if the results haven't come yet. Five rides on the same horse without a win can test anyone's patience, but in the early stages of a career, simply getting race experience and building trust with a trainer is often the whole point.

There is genuinely very little to judge McArdle on at this stage, and that is not a criticism — it is just the reality of six races. The next few months will tell a much clearer story.
