The most recent win came at Naas on 3 April 2025, about 13 months ago, which makes it the kind of horse that reminds the yard — sorry, that reminds the yard — it can still get the job done, just not very often lately. The last six runs read as a blank, a sixth, a thirteenth, a seventh, a seventeenth, and a fourth, which tells a story of inconsistency rather than steady decline. That thirteenth and seventeenth suggest days when things simply did not click; the fourth hints that on a better day, Zoffman is still capable of mixing it with decent horses.

The partnership with jockey Colin Keane is one of racing's more puzzling footnotes. Keane is one of Ireland's finest riders, yet in 11 races together the pair have not won once — zero wins from 11, a combination that has produced plenty of effort and precious little reward. It is the kind of stat that makes you wonder whether a change of jockey might unlock something, or whether the horse simply asks questions that nobody has yet answered.

Where Zoffman does look most comfortable is over a mile and three to a mile and four furlongs — slightly longer trips that suit a horse that needs time to warm to the task. It has won once from five races at that distance, which works out at roughly one in every five attempts, and that 20% win rate is meaningfully better than its overall 9% — or one win in every eleven races across its whole career. The first career win came at The Curragh in September 2022, a track that demands a certain class to win on.

Trained by Noel Meade at Castletown in County Meath — a yard that has already sent out 42 winners this season, so clearly no shortage of form horses — Zoffman races on. It raced just one day ago, which means its story is very much still being written, even if the latest chapters have been a little quiet.
