Zirconic

Zirconic is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the track. It has run once so far, finishing fifth, and is trained by Hugo Palmer at his Malpas yard in Cheshire. Palmer's operation is in fine form this season with 67 winners already, so there is clear expertise behind the horse. For a young horse at an early stage of its career, a single run tells you almost nothing — plenty of future winners start exactly here, with one race under their belt and everything still to prove.
