Woollahra is a two-year-old in early days at Jack Morland's Newmarket yard, which has already saddled 14 winners this season. The horse made its debut just over a day ago and finished fourth. With only that single race under its belt, there is little to assess yet beyond what that run revealed: the horse was beaten but stayed on at the finish, which is often how first-time runners perform when they encounter a racecourse for the very first time. Morland's yard is active and competitive, so Woollahra will get plenty of opportunities to improve on that starting point. Early form means almost nothing for a two-year-old, and many horses need several races before they show what they are really capable of.
