Over a career of 27 races, Weston Court has won just twice — a win rate of roughly 1 in every 14 races, or around 7%. Both wins came in quick succession in the summer of 2024, first at Bath in late June and then at Windsor a week later, which would have raised hopes of a horse coming into form at just the right time. What has followed has been a quieter chapter. The bulk of its career — 22 of 27 races — has come in Class 6, which is the entry-level tier of British racing, and it has won 2 of those 22, a rate of about 1 in 11. That is modest, but it does mean Weston Court is a winner at this level, which is more than can be said for plenty of horses.
The partnership with jockey Liam Keniry has produced nothing yet — zero wins from six races together — though that as much reflects the horse's recent run of form as anything else. Trainer Ronald Harris operates out of Earlswood in Monmouthshire and has sent out five winners already this season, so the yard is clearly capable of getting horses ready to win. The question is whether Weston Court can rediscover whatever clicked during those two bright weeks in the summer of 2024. Right now, the evidence points to a horse that is competitive without being quite good enough — and 22 months is a long time to be waiting for the stars to align again.
