The trainer has been refreshingly honest about it: they pray for rain before every big day. That kind of ground dependency can be a handicap in itself, since you cannot control the weather, but when conditions do align, this horse becomes a genuinely different proposition. The team spent much of last season watching him run respectably on ground that was never quite soft enough, and the frustration was palpable.

His biggest moment came on 27 December 2025 at Wetherby, when he landed a Class 2 race — one of the top levels of competition in British racing. It was a result that felt overdue.
