Tellmemamema

The recent form tells a story of near-misses mixed with harder days. Over the last six outings, Tellmemamema has finished fourth, tenth, eleventh, fifth, seventh, and thirteenth — suggesting the horse has some ability to stay competitive but hasn't yet found the right combination of race type, ground, or opposition to cross the line in front or fight through to a place. At six years old, Tellmemamema is past the age when many horses find their way, but not so old that improvement is impossible. Buckley's yard has sent out five winners this season, so there is form and structure in the stable, even if this particular horse hasn't yet benefited from it.

The question now is whether Tellmemamema will ever break through, or whether these seven races represent its realistic ceiling. At this stage, with no win or place to its name, the horse is still searching for the race in which everything aligns.
