Sweet Katarina

Sweet Katarina is a two-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She made her debut just a day ago and finished ninth — a common starting point for young horses learning what racing is all about. With only that single outing under her belt, there is little to judge yet, but she is trained by William Muir and Chris Grassick at their Lambourn yard, which has already saddled 20 winners this season, so there is genuine racing pedigree behind her. For now, Sweet Katarina remains a horse very much at the beginning of her story, and the real measure of her ability will come with time and more races.
