The trick, it seems, is getting her into the right race. At a distance of a mile and three to four furlongs — a middle-distance trip that suits horses with a bit of stamina — she has won 1 from 9, an 11% win rate, suggesting that when the conditions are right she is capable of being competitive.

Her two career wins are nicely spread. The first came at Thirsk in September 2024, and the second at Newcastle in February 2025 — a winter win on the all-weather surface, which is a useful string to her bow. That Newcastle win was 15 months ago now, and her last six races have all ended without a victory, including a couple of seventh-place finishes that suggest she is finding things tough at the moment. Recent form reads as largely disappointing, though she has not been disgraced.

She is trained by Mike Sowersby, who operates out of a small yard in Little Barugh in North Yorkshire. With a race as recently as yesterday, she remains very much an active participant, and the yard will be looking for the right opportunity to get her back in front.
