Suntino Lady

Suntory Lady is a three-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She has run twice without a win or place finish, and her most recent outing a day ago saw her finish fifth. Before that, she was fourth, suggesting she is gradually improving as she learns what racing demands. Her trainer, David Barron, runs a small but efficient operation at Maunby in North Yorkshire—the yard has sent out 15 winners already this season, so she is in capable hands. For a young horse early in her career, racing regularly and improving with each run is exactly what you want to see. Whether she will develop into a regular winner remains to be seen, but the groundwork is being laid.
