What keeps the profile interesting is who is doing the steering from the sidelines. Henry De Bromhead is one of the most respected trainers in jump racing, operating out of Knockeen in County Waterford, and his yard has sent out 107 winners already this season — a number that reflects genuine firepower and depth. When a stable is firing at that rate, even the horses yet to get off the mark are worth keeping an eye on. De Bromhead has a track record of being patient with younger horses, and a couple of fifth-place finishes after an early 14th suggests Stellar View is at least heading in the right direction.

Zero from three is nothing to celebrate, but it's also far too early to write this one off. The yard clearly knows what it's doing, and at three years old, Stellar View has plenty of time to make those early races look like nothing more than a learning curve.
