The honest caveat is that Steel Tiger has not won in his last six races, and his recent form figures — 11-6-3-10-11-2 — show a horse that goes close occasionally but has been finding at least one or two rivals too good. He raced just yesterday, so the yard are clearly keeping him busy. Whether a return to his preferred conditions over a staying trip can unlock another win remains the question, but the ingredients are clearly there.
