The recent form reads 19-6-4-1-1-5, meaning it has won twice in its last six races and picked up places in three of those six outings. That's solid, active form for a young horse still finding its level. The eight-week gap since that last Chester win on 27 June suggests the team has been patient with placing, rather than rushing the horse back needlessly. At just three years old with a win rate of roughly one in every five races, Start Me Up is still developing, but the Chester data tells you where it likes to run: back there, and often.
