What keeps this one interesting is the yard behind it. Trainer Olly Murphy, based at Wilmcote in Warwickshire, has been operating at a remarkable level this season — 146 winners sent out is not background noise, that is a genuinely productive yard running at serious volume. A trainer firing at that rate clearly knows how to place horses and get the best from them, so the fact that Sonyourastar hasn't found its feet yet doesn't necessarily mean the penny won't drop. Some horses simply take time to find the right race and the right conditions. With only two runs on the board, it would be premature to write this one off — there is still very little known about where it actually fits. Having raced as recently as yesterday, the yard are clearly keen to keep it active, and sometimes that persistence is exactly what it takes.
