Some Nightmare last won at Chepstow in August 2025 — nine months ago now — and hasn't won in the six races since. The recent form reads 3-4-3-6-3, so the horse is still placing, still competing, still finishing in and around the action. It raced just yesterday, which tells you this is a horse very much in training and in form. The first career win came at Goodwood back in September 2021, a course that rewards horses with genuine ability, so there was always something to work with here.

At nine years old, Some Nightmare isn't about to reinvent itself. But a horse that places in nearly half its career races, thrives on normal ground, and ran yesterday? Don't write it off just yet.
