Sirhana

Trained by Richard and Peter Fahey at Musley Bank in North Yorkshire, Sirhana is in capable hands at least. The yard has sent out two winners already this season, so the operation is clearly functioning — Sirhana just hasn't been the one delivering the good news. She raced as recently as yesterday, which means the yard are clearly not giving up on finding the right opportunity for her.

At this stage, Sirhana is a horse still searching for her moment. Seven races is a reasonable sample, and the fact that she hasn't placed even once suggests the step up to competitiveness may require a change of something — race, conditions, or simply time. She's young enough that the story isn't over, but right now she's one for the patient observer rather than the eager punter.
