Silent Sadhu
Silent Sadhu has raced three times without a win or a place, finishing fourth, eighth, and sixth in his most recent three outings. The 2-year-old, trained by J. R. Jenkins at Royston in Hertfordshire, is still learning the game and remains active on the track. Jenkins's yard has sent out 6 winners this season, a modest tally that reflects the challenge of training young horses early in their careers. With only a day between his last race and now, Silent Sadhu is being kept busy — a common approach with horses still finding their feet, as regular racing helps them settle and improve. At this stage, there is little to judge except that he has yet to break through, though plenty of horses need multiple attempts before winning their first race.
