The horse's most recent run was a ninth-place finish, and looking back at the last six races, form has been patchy: a sixth, an eighth, a sixth again, a fourth, a second, and then that ninth. That second-place effort is the closest it has come to breaking its drought in nearly half a year. The last time Showmedemoney got its head in front was at Newcastle on 19 February 2026, a win that now feels like a long time ago in the racing calendar.

Andrew Mullen has been the regular rider, partnering the horse in 26 races and recording three wins together — a win rate of 12 per cent. Trainer Craig Benton, based at Epsom, has built a tidy yard this season with seven winners already, so the stable is doing reasonably well even if Showmedemoney itself is struggling to find the winner's enclosure. The horse performs best on normal ground conditions, where it has won two of seven races (29 per cent), and shows a preference for races at distances between seven furlongs and a mile, though it has only one win from four attempts at that trip. Most of its racing has been at Class 5 level, where it has won just two of twenty-one races (10 per cent) — a reminder that even at the lower end of the sport, the competition is stiff enough to humble most horses.
