Seigneur

Seigneur is a 3-year-old still finding his feet on the racecourse. Trained by James Fanshawe at Newmarket, he has run twice without a win or a placed finish, most recently finishing fifth a day ago and tenth before that. The horse is clearly being given regular opportunities to learn the ropes — back-to-back races suggest the yard is keen to give him racing experience rather than rushing him toward anything specific. Fanshawe's stable has been productive this season with 44 winners, so there is genuine horsepower in the yard even if Seigneur has not yet shown what he might do on race day.
