Sedro Woolley

Trained by W McCreery out of Rathbride in County Kildare, Sedro Woolley at least finds itself in capable hands. The yard has sent out 21 winners already this season, which tells you McCreery knows how to get horses winning — the puzzle is finding the right opportunity for this one. Having raced just yesterday, Sedro Woolley is clearly an active campaigner, and there is time yet for the picture to change.

What is worth noting is that those finishing positions — while never threatening the front — have shown a very slight upward trend when read in reverse. The horse started out running fifth twice, then sixth, and most recently seventh, which is the wrong direction of travel. At four years old, the clock is not quite ticking yet, but McCreery will be keen to find a race where Sedro Woolley can finally get its head in front before the season moves on.
