Sedeirah

She is trained by Edward Bethell at his yard in Middleham, North Yorkshire, which is one of racing's great training villages — a place perched high on the moors that has been producing racehorses for centuries. Bethell's operation is clearly in fine form right now, having sent out 59 winners already this season. That kind of output from a yard gives a horse like Sedeirah every reason for optimism — she has good people around her and plenty of opportunity ahead. A sixth-place finish first time out is nothing to read too much into. Plenty of horses need that first run just to find their feet, and with a full career still in front of her, the only direction from here is forward.
