The current form is even more striking. Three wins on the bounce, with the most recent coming just this week at Newmarket, and four wins from the last six races overall. The two mid-sequence fourth-place finishes now look like a brief blip rather than a warning sign. This is a horse that has found a level and is absolutely thriving at it.

The biggest moment of Santorini Star's career so far came at Doncaster on 11 September 2025, winning a Class 1 race — one of the top races in Britain. That followed a Class 2 win at York a few weeks earlier in August. York and Doncaster in the space of a month, at the top end of the sport, tells you this is no ordinary horse. The career began modestly at Kempton Park in November 2024, and the rise since then has been rapid and steep.

One number stands out above everything else when it comes to ground conditions: three races on fast, dry ground, three wins. A 100% record. Some horses need soft, wet conditions to perform; Santorini Star is the opposite. When the sun has been out and the turf is firm underfoot, this horse has simply not been beaten. It is the kind of specific, repeatable strength that gives a trainer a real edge in planning a season.
