Saifo is a three-year-old still finding his way on the track. He has run twice so far and picked up a place finish in one of those races, but is yet to get his head in front. His most recent outing, just a day ago, saw him finish seventh, while his previous race yielded a second-place finish.
David Simcock, who trains him at Newmarket, runs a yard that has already sent out 39 winners this season, so there is clearly an eye for a horse and the experience to develop young talent. With only two races under his belt, Saifo remains very much a horse with time to improve and prove what he is capable of.
