The recent form figures do at least hint at some gradual improvement worth keeping an eye on. Reading from oldest to newest, those numbers go 4-4-7-7-14-12, which means Sadiiki was finishing fourth twice not long ago before fading back into the pack. The two most recent runs, finishing 14th and 12th, are the worst of the sequence and suggest things have moved in the wrong direction again. Finishing that far back in a field typically means the horse was well beaten and out of contention long before the finish line.

Sadiiki competes at Class 6, which is the lowest tier of British racing — essentially the entry level, where horses without a big race record compete against each other. Even at that level, with six races at Class 6 and nothing to show for it, the results make for difficult reading. The horse raced just one day ago and remains in active training, so the team clearly hasn't given up on finding the right opportunity. Whether that opportunity comes soon is the question.
