Rule Seventeen

Rule Seventeen has been away from racing for two and a half years. The four-year-old ran once, finished second, and has not been seen on a track since. With Adrian Murray's yard in good form this season — 27 winners already sent out — there is at least a chance the horse might return. Whether it will, or whether that long absence means Rule Seventeen's racing days are done, remains to be seen. The horse earned no wins from that single outing, so there is no track record to lean on, no hint of what it might do if it ever races again.
