Middleham has long been one of British racing's great training centres, tucked into the Yorkshire Dales, and Bethell's numbers suggest he's making the most of it.

At this stage, Rogue Passion is a horse with more questions than answers — but with a placed run already on the board and a capable yard in its corner, the first win feels like a matter of when, not if.
