His recent form reads 8-1-2-1-6-2, which means he has been in the frame — finishing first, second, or third — four times in his last six races. That is a horse in form.

That is a strong ratio for any horse-and-jockey pairing and suggests a genuine working relationship built over time. Richards describes him as an ideal syndicate horse, owned by a group rather than a single owner, which fits the profile — consistent enough to be fun, competitive at Class 4 level, and with enough quirks, like his love of the mud, to give his owners something to follow and discuss.
