Princess Keri

Over her last six races, she has won three of them, which is a remarkable hit rate by any standard. Her first career win came at Ffos Las in March 2025, and she has since added to that tally, most recently winning at Hereford in January 2026. That is a horse who has figured out how to win races, and is doing it regularly enough that she cannot be ignored whenever she lines up.

She is trained by Mrs C Williams, operating out of a small yard in Llancarfan in the Vale of Glamorgan. Three winners from a yard this season might not sound like headline numbers, but for a smaller operation, every winner matters — and Princess Keri has been doing a significant share of the heavy lifting. Her most frequent partner in the saddle is Adam Wedge, who has ridden her in five of her races and won one of them together, a 20% win rate. That is a solid working relationship, though the horse herself has clearly shown she can win with others too.

Ground conditions seem to play a role in how well she performs. On normal ground she has won 2 from 4 races — a 50% win rate, which is outstanding. That suggests she is at her best when conditions are not too extreme in either direction, and the yard will no doubt be keeping a close eye on the forecast before committing her to a race.

Her comfort zone is Class 5, which represents the bread-and-butter level of jump racing, and she has been devastating there — winning 4 of her 9 races at that level, or almost 1 in every 2. That is the hallmark of a horse who genuinely belongs at her grade rather than one who is merely surviving it. She raced just a day ago and remains active, so there is likely more to come from a horse who, at six, is arguably still improving.
