Pretty Spirited

Both of those wins have come in Class 6 races — the entry-level tier of British racing — where she has won 2 from 7 (29%), which is a genuinely solid return at that level. That is not a criticism; plenty of horses spend their whole careers searching for the right race, and Pretty Spirited has clearly found her comfort zone. She also has a very clear preference for distances around a mile to a mile and a quarter, going 2 from 7 at those trips. When the race is the right trip and the right class, she is a legitimate contender.

The partnership with jockey Alec Voikhansky is worth noting. Together they have won 2 of their 7 races — nearly 1 in 3 — which is a strong ratio and suggests the two have developed a real understanding. Her trainer Kevin Frost operates out of Averham Park in Nottinghamshire and has had 25 winners this season, so this is a yard in decent form and confident enough to keep running Pretty Spirited regularly.

Her most recent win came at Lingfield Park on 26 August 2025, and before that she broke her duck at Leicester in July of the same year. She raced just yesterday, so whatever happened on that occasion is the very latest chapter in what has been a quietly productive season. For a horse operating at this level, two wins and five places from twelve races, with form figures reading 1-1-3-3 in four of her last five completed efforts, represents a horse punching reliably within her range.
